No matter what I try, sync with Astrid.com doesn’t seem to work. What can I do?
On Android, this might occur due to a bad login token (something went wrong when signing in on the device).
This can usually be corrected by simply logging out, then logging back in:
Accounts & Settings -> Sync & Backup -> Astrid.com -> Log Out
Then select “Synchronize Now” to log back in.
This process should fix most sync issues on the Android.
On iPhone, this might occur due to a mistyped email address.
Check the email that’s currently logged in on the phone by pressing “Profile”. Here it will say “Account: firstname.lastname@example.org”.
Compare this with the email you use to log in to Astrid.com.
This can be found by checking the top-right of the screen when you’re logged in.
If these are the same and you’re still having trouble, you can try to go the Android route by logging out and back in.
Since logging out clears tasks on your phone, you’ll only want to do this if most (if not all) of your tasks exist on the web and you’re just having trouble syncing either between devices or to the phone from the web.
